Day 1: Arrival in Leh

  • Afternoon: Rest and relax at your hotel to allow your body to adjust to the altitude.

  • Evening: Light exploration around Leh Market, Leh Palace, or Shanti Stupa.

Day 2: Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La)

  • Morning: After breakfast, begin your journey towards Nubra Valley (5-6 hours).

  • Khardung La Pass: The drive takes you over Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes at 18,379 feet. Stop for photos at the pass and enjoy the sweeping mountain views.

Day 3: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

  • Afternoon: Arrive at Pangong Lake, famous for its stunning blue waters that change color depending on the time of day.

Day 4: Pangong Lake to Leh

  • Morning: Early morning at Pangong Lake – the sunrise over the lake is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of the trip.

  • Take a walk along the lake and soak in the beauty.

  • Breakfast: After breakfast, head back to Leh (5-6 hours), following the same route.

  • Stop at Chang La Pass (17,590 feet), one of the highest motorable passes, on your way back.

  • Afternoon: Reach Leh by afternoon and relax.

  • Evening: If you have time, explore the Leh Market for souvenirs or visit some local cafes.

  • Overnight: Stay in Leh.


Day 5: Leh Departure

  • Morning: Depending on your flight timing, you can take a short trip to Shanti Stupa or Leh Palace for one last view of the valley.

  • Afternoon: Take your flight back from Leh to Delhi (1.5 hours).

  • Evening: Arrive in Delhi, marking the end of your amazing Leh Ladakh adventure.

  1. Best Time to Visit: The ideal time to visit Ladakh is between June and September when the weather is more pleasant, and the roads are open.
